Tool Cart for Manufacturing Plants and Assembly Lines

A 5S audit walks the floor and asks one question at every cell: does each tool have a place, and is it in it? HAODA builds a tool cart for manufacturing plants that answers yes at the point of use, in six models that run from a light three-tier staging cart to a 13-drawer die and gauge station. Every model is made in our own Lishui factory, so a plant can standardize on one supplier across its cells and sites.

What the audit looks for

What the cart offers

Sort

Only what the cell needs travels with the cart

Open deep and shallow tiers on the JS-19C for instruments and parts; a side hanger and enclosed door on the JS-25C-4207D for tools versus consumables

Set in order

A fixed place for every tool

Drawers of defined sizes, side hanger rails and perforated side panels; pegboard panels available as a custom configuration

Shine

Work surfaces that wipe clean

Stainless steel worktops on most models; powder-coated bodies tested under ISO 9227

Standardize

The same layout in every cell

Custom colors matched to your swatch, so a color can mark a zone; keyed-alike mechanical locks across carts

Sustain

Carts that stay in service

Self-lubricating slides, ABS guards and an anti-tip lock that keeps a loaded cart stable

Custom Configurations

page-1200-600

Standard carts ship without pegboard panels, power strips or adjustable-height worktops, but all three are available as custom configurations. ESD worktops and foam drawer liners are available on request as a custom option. Mechanical drawer locks can be keyed alike across a fleet of carts, and color and logo follow the swatch and artwork you send. Our OEM program explains how a custom configuration moves from brief to shipment.

One Factory Behind the Whole Range

All six models are built on our own line in Lishui: laser cutting to within ±0.1 mm, automated bending, robotic welding and powder coating. Each order passes four quality gates: incoming material inspection, process inspection at every step, a function test and an outgoing inspection. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, a BSCI audit report and an EU GPSD declaration of conformity for tool cabinets and workbenches.

FAQ

Q: How do I choose a tool cart for manufacturing cells that change layout often?

A: Look at weight and footprint before load rating, because all six models carry 500 kg overall. The JS-19C is the lightest and easiest to reposition when a line is reset. The 12- and 13-drawer models hold far more but are heavy, so they suit cells that rarely move.

Q: Can carts be color-coded for different zones or lines?

A: Yes. Send a color swatch and we match the powder coat. A color sample takes 2–3 days, so a plant can approve the shades for every zone before ordering.

Q: Can several carts share one key?

A: Yes. The drawer locks are mechanical and can be keyed alike across multiple carts, so one key opens every cart in a cell or across a site.

Q: Can pegboard panels, power strips or adjustable-height worktops be added?

A: They are not standard, but all three can be built as custom configurations. Tell our sales team the cell layout and the tools it must hold, and we confirm what is feasible before quoting.

Q: Are ESD worktops or foam drawer liners available?

A: Both are available on request as a custom option. Share the application in your brief and we will discuss how it can be supplied.

Q: Why a stainless steel worktop for assembly or inspection?

A: Stainless steel resists rust and chemical exposure and wipes clean after oil or coolant, which painted steel does not. It keeps the cart top usable as a work surface, not only as storage.

Q: Will the anti-tip lock slow work on a production line?

A: The lock lets only one drawer open at a time, which keeps a loaded cart stable. On the JS-25C-3007 it can be left off at order time if a cell needs every drawer open at once. For other models, ask our sales team whether the lock can be omitted.

Q: How are load capacity and coating durability verified?

A: Load capacity is tested statically and dynamically, and third-party load reports can be arranged for your order. Coated parts are tested by neutral salt spray under ISO 9227: 24 hours as standard, with rust limited to 1% of the surface area, and longer tests such as 56 hours on request.

Q: How does a multi-plant rollout usually start?

A: Order one sample unit to test the cart in a real cell. If a bulk order follows, the sample fee is credited against it and the buyer pays sample freight. Custom builds then take 15–30 days before shipment from Ningbo.

Q: What if a lock, a drawer or a part has a problem on arrival?

A: Functional problems with a lock, a drawer or a defective fitting are handled by our after-sales team at no charge. Missing parts are reshipped free of charge and usually arrive within a month.
