The aluminum alloy materials used are produced by adding alloying elements to pure aluminum-such as aluminum-manganese, aluminum-copper, aluminum-copper-magnesium (duralumin), and aluminum-zinc-magnesium-copper (super-duralumin) alloys-categorized primarily into rust-resistant aluminum, hard aluminum, and super-hard aluminum. These materials are characterized by corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, rust-free properties, light weight, ease of processing, high durability, versatility, and aesthetic appeal.
Applications of aluminum alloy materials fall into three main categories: structural load-bearing components; materials for doors, windows, pipes, covers, and casings; and materials for decoration and thermal insulation. The surfaces of aluminum alloy sheets and profiles can undergo secondary processing such as anodizing and coloring, anti-corrosion treatment, embossing, coating, and printing.
The production of aluminum alloy profiles involves three primary stages: melting and casting, extrusion, and coloring. The melting and casting stage-comprising ingredient preparation, melting, and casting-is a critical step that determines the quality of the final case.
